The Living God

How lovely is Your tabernacle, O Lord of Hosts!
My soul longs, yes, even faints
For the courts of the Lord;
My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.
- Psalm 84: 1-2

Where is this living God? Where have we hid Him from our hearts? Is He hidden under all our concepts, and ideas? Is He merely words, programs, events or a point to battle? When did He cease from being a living God? Did He stop being a living God when we seperated our desire to know and experience Him with just knowledge of the Word? Are we, the Body of Believers present time Pharisees, Sadducees, and Scribes so focused on concepts and depending on our knowledge of those concepts about Him that we miss the point, a longing of our soul to walk with the living God.

Blessed is the man whose strength is in You,
Whose heart is set on pilgrimage.
